PAY HOMAGE TO THE MARTYRS AT NATIONAL MARTYRS MEMORIAL

The staff members from DCM YES School in Ludhiana visited the border town of Ferozepur under the “Educator’s Retreat Program” and witnessed the electrifying moments of retreat ceremony at Indo-Pakistan Joint Check Post. The enthusiastic staff members raised the slogans of “Bharat Mata ki Jai”, “Inqlab Zindabad” and “Vande Mataram” to encourage the brave sentinels of BSF.

After the retreat ceremony, the entire staff also visited the BSF Museum, where they also saw the pistol of Shaheed Azam Bhagat Singh, with which he had killed British officer Saunders. On this occasion, they also got information about the weapons of BSF which were displayed in the museum.

After this, the staff members paid floral tributes to martyrs Bhagat Singh Sukhdev and Rajguru, Batukeshwar Dutt and the samadhi of Raj Mata Vidyawati.(SUBHEAD)

Dr. Celine VP Admin Dass & Brown World School, on this occasion welcomed all the visiting staff members and briefed them about the legacy of Hussainiwala. She said that besides witnessing the retreat ceremony, these staff members also got the opportunity to visit the BSF museum, the National Martyrdom Memorial. The staff members also felt enthralled to see the “end of northern railway” point.

DCM Yes School Chief Learning Officer Paramjeet Kaur said that a very commendable step has been taken by the DCM Group, under which today we all got an opportunity to pay homage to the martyrs. He said that all the staff are feeling great excitement by going to the land of martyrs. She also thanked DCM Group CEO Dr. Anirudh Gupta, whose efforts made this visit possible.

On this occasion, Manvinder Kochhar, Kavita Daman, Jitinder Singh, Mamta Vasudev, Muskan, Nidhi, Meera etc. were present.
