In view of the tense atmosphere in Punjab, there is a big news regarding the restoration of internet services that on Tuesday at 12 noon, internet services will be restored in Punjab, while restrictions will still remain in some districts including Mohali.

Internet will be completely shut down in District Tarn Taran, Ferozepur, Moga, Sangrur while some areas of Ajnala and Mohali will remain affected till March 23. The said order has been issued by the Home Department of Punjab.

It may be recalled on Saturday on March 18, an operation was launched by the Punjab Police to arrest Amritpal Singh and his associates, the leader of the 'Waris Punjab De' Jathebandi across the state. In order to prevent rumours and spoil the atmosphere, the ban on mobile internet and such services across the state was imposed by the Punjab government on the request of the Punjab Police, which has now been extended till March 23.
