GULLY CRICKET TOURNAMENT: TEAM NO. 38, 36, 175 AND 173 WON THEIR MATCHES

A total of four matches were played on day four of the Allengers Gully Cricket Tournament being organized by UT Cricket Association (UTCA) and Chandigarh Police for the youth aged between 14 to 18 years. In the first match played at the Punjab Engineering College Ground, Team No. 38 registered a brilliant 104-run victory over Team No. 37.

Gautam (82) and Sunil (67) steered to a total of 161 for the loss of just one wicket. In reply, Team No. 37 was bowled out for mere 57 runs. Gautam and Adit took three wickets each. In another match played at the same ground, Team No 36 defeated Team No. 35 by 101 runs. The team No 36 scored 144 runs by losing two wickets wherein Divyansh contributed 49 and Hrithik Raj added 44.

In response, the team no 35 managed to collect only 43 runs for the loss of six wickets in stipulated ten overs. Closeby, two matches were also played at the Government College of Architecture. Team No 175 registered an emphatic five-wicket win over team no. 176 while in a second match, Team No. 173 registered won the match against Team No. 174 by massive ten wickets.

Chandigarh Police officer Bhim Singh and others honored the best performing players. 11 matches will be played on Monday.
