Police achieved a major success when the Police Staff of Police Station Sector-39, Sub-Division South West arrested accussed i.e. Manpreet Singh @ Manna S/O Balwinder Singh R/O Village -Dogar PS-Fathegarh Chudiyan Distt-Gurdashpur (P.B) age-28 years in case FIR 000185 dated 13.03.2023 U/s 379 added 411 IPC PS 39, Chandigarh.
The above noted E-FIR lodged by Sh. Jagdish Singh S/o Gursewak Singh R/o H.No. 3683, Sector 37/B Chandigarh. He reported that he had parked his car make I-20 bearing registion No. PB03BE0124 white colour in front of his house on 13.03.2023. He saw in the morning that his said car was not here. It could be stolen by unknown person.(SUBHEAD)
On the directions of W/SSP Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS and SP City Sh. Mridul, IPS and under the supervision of Sh. Charanjit Singh Virk, SDPO/South West, a team was constituted comprising of Inspector/SHO Eram Rizvi, ASI Lakhbir Singh 1050/CP, C Dharambir Singh 5038/CP, C Sukhi Ram 4893/CP.
During the course of investigation, on 08.04.2023 accused Manpreet Singh @ Manna S/O Balwinder Singh R/O Village -Dogar PS-Fathegarh Chudiyan Distt-Gurdashpur (P.B) age-28 years has been arrested and stolen car bearing No. PB03BE0124 has been recovered form accused. The accused Manpreet Singh @ Manna has sent into judicial custody.
