Sewa Hi Sewa Charitable Hospital, Panchkula has received three state-of-the-art eye treatment machines from Valco Industries Ltd., Chandigarh as a donation worth Rs 40 lakhs.

The hospital, managed by Sewa Hi Sewa Charitable Trust, is located at the back side of SCO 27, Sector 11, Panchkula. The newly installed machines include one OCT machine (used to check the cornea of the eye), NCT machine (that checks eye pressure), and YARG laser machine (which is used to clean the membrane after the operation) for eye examination.

Sewadar of the Trust, Ramesh Aggarwal said that Sewa Hi Sewa Charitable Hospital was inaugurated by Gyanchand Gupta on 1 August 2021, where medicines are provided free of cost apart from various types of medical tests to the needy patients. Cataract surgery is done free of cost in its eye clinic on ‘first come, first served’ basis. After the expansion of Retina and Cornea section, this eye clinic has become one of the best facilities in the region.

The medical shop inside the hospital is the first in tricity where 63% discount is available on branded medicines and 20% discount on patented medicines.
