MCM'S FINAL YEAR STUDENTS AND HOSTELLERS GIVEN A WARM SEND-OFF

A kaleidoscope of emotions was witnessed as the outgoing batch of 2022-23 received a heartwarming send-off at Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, during the College Farewell and Hostel Farewell 2023.

The farewells- cultural, fun-filled extravaganzas were befitting adieu to the students who would be leaving the portals of the college to explore the real world. Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava graced both the events as the Chief Guest.

(SUBHEAD)(MOREPIC2)In her affectionate and motivating address, Dr. Bhargava said that the college has discharged its responsibility, with utmost sincerity, of grooming the students to take on the world and now it is their turn to achieve landmarks through the strength of character imbibed in them during their tenure at the institution.

She advised the students to never lose sight of their purpose in life and wished them success in all their future endeavours. Highlighting the importance of connection, she urged the students to spread the fragrance of MCM wherever they go and remain connected to their alma mater.

Foot tapping, electrifying dance performances, including Himachal's 'naati', Haryanvi, Manipuri, Bollywood themed, BTS themed and bhangra, added to the exuberance of the students who sang and danced along, making cherishable memories to last a lifetime. The highlight of the two events was MCM Queen Contest and MCM Hostel Queen Contest, that witnessed beautiful confident young women walk down the ramp in style, upping the glamour quotient of the event. The events ended with the crowning ceremony by Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava and the members of the Advisory Committee of the college.

The results of MCM Queen Contest are:  MCM Queen- Kinshuk Sachdeva First runner up- Himika Sood, econd runner up- Vinus Thakur, Ms. Radiant Smile – Balsimran Kaur, s. Elegant Walk- Khushboo Khurana
