SANGARIA AND NAWANSHAHER YOUTH NABS DUPING BENGAL RESIDENTS ON PRETEXT OF SENDING ABROAD

A case FIR No. 59 U/S 420, 406, 323, 120-B IPC & 24 Immigration Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Harun Mirja R/o Village- Kumrai Distt- Murshidabad, West Bangal (age-51 years) against Gaurav @ Pankaj R/o # 359 Baljit Singh Patwari Wali Gali, Ward No. 22, Sangaria Hanumangarh (Rajasthan) age-28 years and Taspreet Singh @ Ravi R/o Village- Kot Ranjha Nawanshahar (Pb) (age-22 years) and others, all were cheated with complainant cash Rs. 4,43,000/- regarding visa for his son and nephew.

But neither they provided work visa nor returned their money. Later on, both accused persons i.e. Gaurav @ Pankaj and Taspreet Singh @ Ravi were arrested. Investigation of the case is in progress.

UNIDENTIFIED PERSONS CHEATS JEWELARY FROM BAGS OF A WOMAN: A case FIR No. 115 U/S 420, 406, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Chandigarh against the unknown persons who cheated away 02 gold bangles, one gold chain and 02 gold rings from her bag near Attawa Chowk on 01.05.2023. Investigation of the case is in progress.

CALL FOR TREATMENT, WOMAN LOST 39, 800:  A case FIR No. 41, U/S 419, 420, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-Cyber Crime, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady (Dermatologist) resident of Chandigarh who reported that on 07.04.2023 unknown person introduced himself as army person over a phone call and cheated Rs. 39,800/- from her bank account after sending credit card payment link on the pretext of treatment of his brother. Investigation of the case is in progress.
