By securing 99.6 percent marks, Raghav Goyal, a student of Assumption Convent School Abohar, has topped the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Class X examination in Punjab.
Principal Sr Elsa Maria congratulated Raghav in the presence of his mother Malika, a school teacher, and father Karan Goyal, a businessman and grandmother Kanta Goyal. Raghav has made the school proud by getting All India Rank 2 also.
Japji Kaur, daughter of Balwinder Kaur/Rupinder Singh Sabharwal, and a student of the same school has secured 98.6 percent marks in the Class X exam.
Raghav said that, besides the teachers, he drew inspiration from his uncle Dr. Rohit Goyal and his wife Dr. Lovely to do something big and there is no substitute for hard work the doctor-couple would tell him.
