Our diverse lifestyle, food habits, languages and cultural traditions – from East to West and North to South – are indispensable to each other, which is the cornerstone of our nation and its rich socio-cultural legacy.

This was stated by Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya on Tuesday evening during an interactive session with the students of Sikkim at Raj Bhavan to celebrate Sikkim Foundation Day. 

The Governor said that there is a harmonious bond among Indians irrespective of the region they belong to. Which is why they adapt themselves to existing social milieu wherever they go, said Shri Dattatraya. (SUBHEAD)

The delegation of students, which also comprised those from Assam, Ladakh, Manipur and Nagaland, interacted with Governor Shri Dattatraya and shared their experience of living in Chandigarh and Panchkula. The Governor congratulated them on the occasion and wished them a bright and prosperous future. 

Responding to experiences and feelings expressed by the students on the occasion, Shri Dattatraya informed them about all round development of the country and various landmark public welfare policies implemented successfully in the country under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. 

Sharing his personal experiences with the students consisting of both boys and girls, Shri Dattatraya said that one can achieve desired success in life and every competition on the basis of his determination, self-confidence and hard work. 

Every member of the delegation told the Governor Haryana that they are feeling very happy to get education in a clean, pollution free and friendly environment of Haryana and Chandigarh. They said that they do not feel like going back from here.

Secretary to Governor Shri Atul Dwivedi, IAS, and OSD, Shri Bakhwinder Singh were present during the interaction.
