Panjab University has issued fresh guide lines on 70th Annual convocation, schedule to be held on May 20.In fresh guide line, PU spokesman said, “NO VEHICLE ROAD” The VVIP route will be from Gate No – 1 via Administrative Block, Chemistry Department and Physics Department road via Gymnasium Hall up to Golden jubilee Guest House.
(a) This route will not be allowed for public from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on May 20, 2023.
(b) No Vehicle will be allowed to be parked on this route road on May 19 & 20, 2023.
Park vehicles in respective / designated parking only.
All the residents / visitors of Panjab University are not to park their vehicles on the road side in the PU campus on May 19 & 20, 2023. If any vehicle is found parked in the unauthorized area, it will be towed-away by the traffic police of Chandigarh.
GATE TIMING FOR GENERAL PUBLIC ON MAY 20, 2023.
a. Gate No – 1 will remain open for entry and exit from 06:00 a.m. to 09:00 a.m. and after 01:00 pm. No Vehicles will be allowed from Gate No – 1 from 09:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
b. Gate No – 2 will remain open for entry and exit throughout for the (VIPs, Guest Invitees, Faculty & Media persons).
c. Gate No – 3 will remain open for entry and exit from 06:00 a.m. to 10:00 pm for the Students.
All the Panjab University residents, visitors in the PU campus are requested to follow the above mentioned instructions for the smooth conduct of the Convocation.
