In order to maintain the aura of the city, MLA Sandeep Jakhar has been leading the Apna Abohar Apni Abha campaign for the last two years. Under this, as many as 107 camps were organised to promote cleanliness and beautification in various areas.
To encourage these efforts, DC cum Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal IAS had a meeting with MLA Sandeep Jakhar and the volunteers of the campaign at the town hall. She appreciated the work being done by them. She said that due to the campaign, the city residents are making continuous efforts to improve the aura of their city, which is commendable.
“To keep the city beautiful and clean is also our moral duty, all the residents should take full care of the cleanliness around them. Polythene has been banned by the Municipal Corporation, people should completely stop using single-use plastic, she said.
