Earthquake with low intensity were felt in Chandigarh and other parts of North India at 3.57 AM on Saturday , when the people were sleeping.
This is the fourth time in a month that earthquake tremors were felt in North India. It is saID that out of which which 2 times the center was in Jammu and Kashmir and once in Leh Ladakh. This time the center was Haryana's Rohtak. Its effect was seen in Haryana as well as in Punjab, Delhi and Chandigarh.
According to the National Earthquake Science Center, the intensity of this earthquake was 3.2. The earthquake was felt at 3.57 am. Its latitude was 29.12, longitude 76.35 and depth was 10 km. Its center was 35 km northwest of Rohtak in Haryana. No loss of property and life , if its intensity was more then there could have been loss of life and property.
