AIPL DREAMCITY LUDHIANA TO COMMEMORATE ITS 75TH FOUNDATION DAY, PROMINENT CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS OF THE CITY AND THEIR FAMILIES TOOK PART IN THE 6.5 KM RUN

As part of their initiative to promote physical fitness and sport as a culture, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Ludhiana Chapter organised a marathon at AIPL DreamCity Ludhiana today to celebrate ICAI 75th Foundation Day. Prominent chartered accountants of Ludhiana in addition to their families and students took part in the marathon. Over 200 physical fitness enthusiasts participated in the 6.5 Km marathon.

The marathon saw runners from the 18-65 age group. Top-three winners were declared for each category in both male and female segments. ICAI gave away prizes to all the winners.

In addition to a certificate to every participant, AIPL DreamCity Ludhiana played the perfect host and gave away ties and pocket squares to every participant. Further, a healthy and sumptuous breakfast was also served to all the runners.(SUBHEAD)

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shamsheer Singh Director AIPL said: “It is heartening to see people conscious about a healthy lifestyle nowadays and take part in such activities. It is exciting for us to witness women participation too.

This event is not merely a competition but, a method for us to encourage everyone to take up physical fitness as a part of their daily lifestyle. We, at AIPL take pride in positively contributing to better lives of the communities living in and around us. I take this opportunity to thank and congratulate everybody who came forward to make this a wonderful and memorable event.”
