A case FIR No. 73, U/S 419, 420, 511 IPC has been registered in Police Station yber, Chandigarh on the complaint of G. Vinod Kumar R/o 12 Wing, Airforce Station, Sector 31, Chandigarh.
The complainant alleged that unknown person on Olx app taken complainant’s govt. ID card through whatsapp for selling old furniture items to the complainant and tried to cheat him.
Later complainant also came to know that alleged person dishonestly using complainant’s ID card on Olx and attempting to commit online crime.
Investigation of the case is in progress. No arrest have been made so far.
