Principal Controller of Defence Accounts is organising an Outreach Programme for the life certification of non-identified (NID) Defense Pensioners under SPARSH on 06 to 07 July 2023 at 10:00 AM at District Sainik Welfare Office (DSWC), Sector-21 Chandigarh. All those defense pensioners, whose pension has been stopped, may reach the above mentioned venue alongwith their Aadhar card, PAN card, Bank Passbook and Mobile phone linked with their Aadhar to submit their life certificate.
It is notable that a new online system- System for Pension Administration – Raksha (SPARSH) has been implemented by the Principal Controller of Defense Accounts for disbursement of pension to all defense pensioners. About 23 lakh defense pensioners have already been migrated to SPARSH system and remaining will also be covered under the new system soon. It has been observed that many defense pensioners have not yet submitted their Life Certificate on SPARSH system, due to which they have remained Non-Identified and their pension has been stopped.
In view of the above, this Outreach Programme will be helpful in bringing non-identified pensioners under the ambit of SPARSH system.
