339 Cadets of NCC army wing of KV OCF Sector 29 , KV 3 BRD , Stepping Stone Sector 37 , Shishu Niketan Sector 22, Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary School Sector 27 Chandigarh , organized an awareness activities on “Plastic Free India, Bad effects of Plastic and “Plastic ban for Future”.
(MOREPIC1)(SUBHEAD) The main aim of this activity is to spread awareness among people to recognize the urgency of the situation. colonel Paramjeet commanding officer of 2 Chandigarh battalion chandigarh ,said that India is known for its rich cultural heritage and diverse landscapes.
Over the years, the extensive use of plastic has taken a toll on our environ- ment, affecting our ecosys- tems, wildlife, and even human health. Now, India is taking bold steps towards a plastic-free future, aiming to eliminate the detrimental effects of plastic and pave the way for a sustainable nation.
Therefore, NCC cadets plan for this activity in the vicinity of their college. Commanding officer of 2 Chandigarh BN NCC, Col Paramjeet opined that India has implemented a series of initiatives to ban and reduce like: plastic usage by imposing some key measures on Single-Use Plastic, Plastic Waste Management Rules, Innovation Research.India's journey occasion.
Towards a plastic-free future is essential for preserving our environment, protecting our health, and securing a sustainable future for generations to come. The cadets used numerous slogan and quotes to reveal the bad effects of plastic Environmental Pollution, Health Hazards, and Waste Management Challenges.
