Trident Stallions bounce back with a resounding win in the Sher-e-Punjab T20 Cup. The team won the 5th league match against Hampton Falcons by 7 wickets and achieved the target with 11 balls to spare. In reply to Hampton Falcons' 164/4, Trident Stallions scored 168/3 in 18.1 overs. Captain Nehal Wadhera played an inning of 66 runs.

In the match played at IS Bindra Stadium, Hampton Falcons won the toss and decided to bat first. Trident's bowlers did not give them a chance to score runs and they could only add 164 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. Anmolpreet Singh scored 53 and Anshul Chaudhary contributed 45 runs. For Trident Stallions, Gourav Choudhary, Aryaman Singh and Harshdeep Singh took 1-1 wickets while bowling economically.(SUBHEAD)

In reply, Shivein Rakheja got Trident Stallions off to a good start, but Vihaan Malhotra (07) returned early. Nehal Wadhera took charge at the other end and laid the foundation for the win with Shivein Rakheja. Shivein was run out after scoring 44 off 35 balls, while Nehal Wadhera scored 66 off 48 balls. He hit 9 fours in the innings.

Team Trident then needed 40 runs to win and Gourav Choudhary came on the pitch. He scored 38 runs in 14 balls with the help of 2 fours and 4 sixes and gave the team victory. Kawalpreet Singh and Kunwar got 1-1 wickets from Hampton Falcons.
