In a major breakthrough Chandigarh police have achieve a major success by arresting three accused in Gambling Act.
On 25.07.2023 ASI Kadam Singh 2873/CP PS-MM along with police party while performing the patrolling duty in the area of PS-Mani Majra. At around 8 PM they nabbed three person Mohamad Tanveer S/o Mohamad Yakub R/o H.No 620, Dera Sahib Gurdwara Mani Majra Chd Age 34 Yrs, Mohamad Aarif S/o Mohamad Ilyas R/o # 222, Govindpura Manimarjra Chd Age 31 years & Rahis Ahmad S/o Mohamad Hanif R/o # 1119/9A Govindpura MM Chd Age 46 years from Kachi Parking near gate no. 3, MHC Govindpura Chandigarh while they were playing gambling at public place and recovered total Rs. 5660/- from their possession. Subsequently case FIR No. 80 dt. 25.7.2023 u/s 13A, 3, 67 Gambling Act PS-MM, Chd has been registered in this regard.
