SITUATION UNDER CONTROL IN HARYANA'S NUH. CLAIMS IG CRPF

INSPECTOR GENERAL CRPF REVIEWED THE SITUATION BY MEETING THE OFFICERS OF RAF AND CRPF, COMPANIES DEPLOYED IN VIOLENCE AFFECTED AREAS

The situation is under control in Haryana's Nuh (Mewat) following incidents of violence and arson during a religious procession.

(MOREPIC1) As per the orders of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, companies of Central Reserve Police Force and Rapid Action Force have been deployed in the violence-affected areas, in which women officers and jawans are also included.

As soon as the order was received from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Central Reserve Police Force Headquarters, Inspector General Jasbir Singh Sandhu, posted in the of the Central Reserve Police Force, Chandigarh, took immediate action and sent companies of RAF and CRPF to Nuh district and got the deployment done with the cooperation of the district administration.

Shri Jasbir Singh Sandhu visited the companies deployed in areas of Nuh, Palwal and Hodal. He reviewed the situation in a meeting with the officials and directed to keep the situation under control. Shri Jasbir Singh Sandhu also personally met all the company commanders and jawans and briefed them.

He encouraged the jawans deployed on the spot and congratulated them for quickly bringing the violence under control. The Inspector General also reviewed the arrangements for their stay and food etc. He visited the riot affected areas at the ground level. CRPF Inspector General, Shri Jasbir Singh Sandhu said that now the situation is under control. RAF and CRPF have brought the situation under control by taking charge.

Shri Mahendra Kumar, DIG, Range Headquarters Sonipat, is camping in Nuh and Palwal and is monitoring the deployment of RAF and CRPF companies.
