The team of Police Station -19, Chandigarh under the leadership of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur W/SSP/UT and close supervision of Sh. Mridul SP/City and headed by Ms. Palak Goel DSP/East UT, Chandigarh & personally led by Insp. Juldan Singh, SHO PS-19, Chandigarh has got success by arresting two accused namely Nikhil Thakur S/O Bachittar Singh R/O Flat No 501 X-Block, Jaipuria Sunrise green VIP Road Zirakpur Pb Age 31 Yrs & Gurpal Singh S/o Paramjit Singh R/o H.No. 2546, PLW, Railway Colony Patiala PB age 37 yrs in FIR No. 68 dt 12.08.2023 U/s 420,380 IPC added 411 IPC, PS 19, Chandigarh.
(SUBHEAD)This case was registered on the complaint of Sh. Surinder Singh S/O Faqir Singh R/O H No 2325 Sec 71 Mohali Pb in which he stated that on 09.08.23 at about 1.00 PM. He was withdrawing money from SBI Bank ATM Sector 19 Chandigarh at the same time a boy came to the ATM and that boy withdraw Rs 30,000 by changing his ATM card.
During investigation accused Nikhil Thakur S/O Bachittar Singh R/O Flat No 501 X-Block, Jaipuria Sunrise green VIP Road Zirakpur Pb Age 31 Yrs was arrested on same day and accused Gurpal Singh S/o Paramjit Singh R/o H.No. 2546, PLW, Railway Colony Patiala PB age 37 yrs was arrested on 13.08.2023
During investigation, a team was constituted by SHO PS-19 to nab the culprit. The team has got success by arresting two accused namely Nikhil Thakur S/O Bachittar Singh R/O Flat No 501 X-Block, Jaipuria Sunrise green VIP Road Zirakpur Pb Age 31 Yrs and accused Gurpal Singh S/o Paramjit Singh R/o H.No. 2546, PLW, Railway Colony Patiala PB age 37 yrs. M/Cycle No. CH04J4264 was recovered from accused Gurpal Singh and taken into police possession. Both accused will be produced before the Court for further course of action.
Accused Nikhil Thakur and accused Gurpal Singh are habitual offender and the following cases were found registered against them, in various Police Stations in Chandigarh & other states.
