Under the aegis of Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Western Command) Chandigarh, the 77th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm during the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Inaugurating the program, Sh. Dinesh Singh, IDAS, Principal Controller of Defence Accounts (Western Command) hoisted the tricolour in the office premises.
Thereafter, the national anthem was sung and patriotic slogans were raised. On this occasion Sh. Dinesh Singh, PCDA (WC) while addressing the officials paid homage to the martyrs of freedom struggle of India and inspired all to work vigorously with new commitment.
Sweets were also distributed on this occasion.
