GOVERNOR LAYS FOUNDATION STONE FOR ADVANCED ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH CENTRE AT PGGC-11

Governor of Punjab and Administrator UT, Chandigarh,Sh. Banwarilal Purohit marked a momentous occasion by laying the foundation stone of the state-of-the-art Advanced Academic and Research Centre at PGGC-11. This remarkable research facility, valued at 9.93 crores and encompassing an impressive 2930 sqm of covered area, is poised to invigorate critical thinking, innovation, and problem-solving within the academic community.

With the core belief that research catalyzes the advancement of knowledge, new technologies, and solutions to address societal challenges and stimulate economic growth, the establishment of the Advanced Academic and Research Centre is a significant stride towards realizing these objectives.

With the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which accentuates the paramount importance of research-oriented education at all levels, Sh. Purohit emphasized, “This centre stands as a testament to our dedication to fostering a culture of research-driven learning.”

(SUBHEAD)Praising the concerted efforts of the faculty and other stakeholders in bringing this ambitious project to fruition, Givernor applauded the Advanced Academic and Research Centre's potential to be an inspirational hub that nurtures curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. The centre's influence, he emphasized, will extend far beyond its physical boundaries.

The Advanced Academic and Research Centre at PGGC-11 holds the promise of propelling academic excellence, innovation, and transformative research, in alignment with the evolving educational landscape and the pursuit of knowledge-driven growth.
