The excellence and eloquence exhibited by the participating teams impressed the audience and jury alike. The mature and coherent arguments about why a single currency should be adopted owing to the need of interconnectivity increasing in today's world awed everyone.

The Guest of Honour for the day was Mrs. Carol Goyal and the jury consisted of Dr. Jayanti Dutta (Professor Human Resource Development Centre, PU), Dr. Deepti Gupta (Retd. Professor, PU), Dr. Devinder Pal Singh (Registrar Punjabi University), Col. Daljeet Singh Cheema (Retd.), renowned author and Col. Rajiv Bhargava (Senior Advocate Director ISB).

(MOREPIC2)The four teams which made it to the final round were St. Columba's, New Delhi, La Martiniere Girls' College Lucknow, Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School Chandigarh and St. Patrick's Higher Secondary School Asansol. 

This debate has set a new benchmark for the following years. The 2-Day mega event concluded with an amazing prize distribution ceremony.

The winners of the grand trophy and an INCREDIBLE cash prize of Rs. 1 LAKH were the students from St. Patrick's Higher Secondary School, Asansol. The Runners' up prize of Rs. 25000 was bagged by the team from St. Columba's, New Delhi .

Brother Ryan, Principal, St. John's High School congratulated the participants and the staff for their passion and preparations.
