Police continuing its drive against Drug Traffickers/suppliers active in Chandigarh. The team of Police Station-36 Chandigarh under the direction and supervision of senior officers achieved a major success by arresting the accused Nishu w/o Amit R/o # 1288, sector 52, Chandigarh age 24 years in case FIR No. 277 Dt 1.9.23 U/S 21 NDPS, Act Police Station-36,Chandigarh and recovered total 13.42 gram heroine from her possession.

On 01.09.2023, Police party of Police Station Sector 36, Chandigarh including lady official was patrolling near T-point, backside ISBT-43, Chandigarh. During patrolling on getting suspicious they stopped one lady who was carrying blue purse in her hand and tried to throw it away.

During checking of her purse total 13.42 gram heroine recovered from her possession without any license or permit. 

She is a habitual criminal and the following case is registered against her , Case FIR No. 159 Dated:- 23.09.2019 U/S 22 NDPS Act PS-Maloya (24 injunctions)

Accused produced before the Hon’ble Court on 01.09.2023 and two day police remand obtained. The investigation of the casE continues.
