Senior Congress leader and MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira has been arrested by the Punjab Police this morning on Thursday. Sukhpal Singh Khaira has been arrested from his Chandigarh residence in an old NDPS case.
Jalalabad West Police in Fazilka bordering district, raided the residence of Sukhpal Singh Khaira at around 6 o'clock this morning. Sukhpal Singh Khaira also asked questions and answers to the police who arrived to arrest them in which case they are being arrested.
It may not out of place to mention here that NDPS case relates to his one of known person of his Bhulath Constituency.
Abohar MLA Sandeep Jakhar while tweeting said, the arrest of Sukhpal Khaira this morning from his residence in an old unsubstantiated case shows the vindictive & malicious intent of the AAP government. Jakhar endorsed the tweet to DGP Punjab also.
