Haryana's players are demonstrating their exceptional talent and prowess at the ongoing Asian Games in China. The Indian contingent has amassed a total of 84 medals, and an impressive 21 of them are proudly claimed by Haryana's athletes. These outstanding individuals have propelled Haryana to a prominent position on the national medal tally, securing 7 gold, 3 silver, and 11 bronze medals.

Haryana's players have left an indelible mark in various sporting disciplines, proving their mettle regardless of gender.

The renowned world champion, Neeraj Chopra, clinched a gold medal for India in javelin throw, achieving a season's best throw of 88.88 meters. Hailing from Panipat, Neeraj Chopra's remarkable feat adds another gold to India's tally.

(SUBHEAD)Haryana's excellence shines brightly in the sport of shooting, with Shiva Narwal from Faridabad securing a gold medal in the 10-meter air pistol team event. Sarabjot Singh, a resident of Ambala district, also secured a gold medal in the 10-meter air pistol team event and a silver medal in the mixed event. Adarsh Singh from Faridabad clinched a bronze medal in the 25-meter rapid fire pistol team event, while Karnal's Anish Bhanwala secured another bronze medal.

Haryana's prowess extends to the shooting arena, where Rhythm Sangwan of Faridabad and Manu Bhakar of Jhajjar targeted gold in 25-meter pistol event. Jhajjar's Palak claimed gold in the individual category and silver in the team event in the 10-meter air pistol. Ramita from Kurukshetra secured silver in the team event and bronze in the individual category in the same event.

Adding to the list of accolades, the Indian women's cricket team clinched gold, with Rohtak's Shafali Verma making significant contributions. Meanwhile, Parminder Singh from Shahpur village in Yamunanagar secured a bronze medal in rowing quadruple sculls.

In the exhilarating world of speed skating, Aryan Pal Singh Ghuman from Panchkula raced to victory with a bronze medal in the men's 3000-meter speed skating relay event.

The athletics arena also witnessed Haryana's brilliance, as Seema Punia from Sonipat secured a bronze medal in discus throw, and Faridabad's Preeti Lamba earned a bronze medal in the women's 3000-meter steeplechase.

The boxing ring saw Haryana's fighters deliver impressive performances, with Preeti Panwar from Rohtak securing a bronze medal in the 54-kg weight category, and Rohtak's Parveen Hooda secured bronze in the 57-kg weight category. Narendra Berwal from Hisar displayed remarkable skills, bagging a bronze medal in the 92-plus kg weight category.

Haryana's wrestling talent was showcased by Sunil Kumar from Sonipat, who secured a bronze medal in the 87-kg weight category.

These remarkable achievements by Haryana's athletes at the Asian Games underscore the state's commitment to sports excellence and the dedication of its sporting community.
