USED FOR PRINTING FICN SEIZED, MOBILE HANDSETS WITH SIM CARDS AND TWO CARS USED IN FICN TRAFFICKING ALSO SEIZED

A team of ER-I/Crime Branch has arrested 05 key members of inter-state FICN cartel including mastermind named (1) Sakoor Mohammad, 25 years, R/o Village Berunda, Tehsil Riyabadi, District Nagaur, Rajasthan, (2) Lokesh Yadav, 28 years R/o Village Padra, Tehsil Sagwada, District Dungurpur, Rajasthan, (3) Himanshu Jain, 47 years, R/o Punarwas Sagwada, Dungarpur, Rajasthan, (4) Shiv Lal, 30 years, R/o Village Raliyawate, Post Rajlota, District Nagour, Rajasthan and (5) Sanjay Godara, 22 years, R/o Village Raliyawate, Post Rajlota, District Nagour, Rajasthan. High quality Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) equivalent to ₹19,74,000 (Nineteen Lakh Seventy-Four thousand only) all in the denomination of ₹ 500, have been recovered. Further, the material/equipment used for printing FICN used to imprint numeral 500 on FICN have also been recovered on their instance.

Trafficking and circulation of high quality FICN in Delhi and adjoining states poses a serious threat to the national security and financial stability of the country. Surveillance was mounted upon the activities of the suspected members of a syndicate involved in counterfeit currency.
Specific input was received by ASI Governor and ASI Ajay Chauhan regarding two criminals named Sakoor Mohammad and Lokesh Yadav, who are involved in the circulation of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) would come to the area of Akshar Dham Temple, Delhi to deliver a consignment of FICN to a prospective receiver.
Accordingly, a team led by Insp Deepak Pandey comprising of SI Avdhesh Dixit, ASI Governor, ASI Ajay Chauhan, HC Ajay Yadav, HC Nitin, HC Devender, HC Ankur, HC Vinit, HC Ajay Mavi, HC Ray Singh and Ct. Aakash under the close supervision of ACP Rohitash Kumar was constituted by DCP Satish Kumar to bust the cartel.
A trap was laid near Akshar Dham Temple, Delhi and the accused named Sakoor Mohammad and Lokesh Yadav were successfully apprehended. During their search, high quality FICN equivalent to ₹6,00,000 in the denomination of ₹500 were recovered from their possession.
INTERROGATION: Mr.Ravindra Singh Yadav, IPS, Special Commissioner of Police, Crime, said, upon sustained interrogation, the accused persons disclosed that they had received the recovered FICN for circulation from his associates Himanshu Jain, Shiv Lal and his brother Sanjay all R/o Rajasthan. It was also revealed that accused persons Radhey, Sakoor Mohammad and Shivlal hatched a conspiracy to establish a setup for printing FICN at Ajmer, Rajasthan to earn huge profit.
Subsequently, they were operating a nexus/ syndicate indulged in printing FICN at a rented house in Ajmer, Rajasthan and circulating the FICN to different customers in the area of Delhi/NCR.
Thereafter, subsequent raids were conducted at Ajmer, Rajasthan and at the instance of Mastermind of this syndicate i.e., Sakoor Mohammad, and the remaining members of this cartel named (1) Himanshu Jain, 47 years, R/o Punarwas Sagwada, Dungarpur, Rajasthan, (2) Shiv Lal, 30 years, R/o Village Raliyawate, Post Rajlota, District Nagour, Rajasthan and (3) Sanjay Godara, 22 years, R/o Village Raliyawate, Post Rajlota, District Nagour, Rajasthan were arrested. A huge quantity of FICN equivalent to ₹11,00,000 all in the denomination of ₹500 were also recovered from their possession.
On further investigation, the equipment used for printing FICN i.e., 02 laptops, 03 colour printers, 02 lamination machine, 02 pen drives, paper sheets, ink and chemicals, 02 gauzes, green foil sheet used as ‘security thread’ and frames used to imprint numeral 500 on FICN with glow ink, were recovered from the rented house i.e., H. No. G-1047, Ganesh Gwadi Panchsheel Nagar, Ajmer, Rajasthan. Further, mobile handsets and SIM cards, one Creta car and Swift car used by all the accused persons in the circulation of FICN, were also seized.
RECOVERY: Equipments used in commission of crime, 01 Monitor, 01 CPU, 03 Colour Printers, 02 Laptops, Printed uncut sheets of ₹ 8,14,000/- (FICN), 02 Pen Drives, 02 Lamination Machines, 19 Ink Bottles with chemical (being used for FICN Printing), 02 Gauzes , Green thread line roll of RBI (bought from India-Mart), High quality FICN ₹19,74,000, Two cars used in the circulation of FICN, 03 Mobile handsets and SIM cards
KNOW THE ACCUSED: Accused Sakoor Mohammad, 25 years, R/o Village Berunda, Tehsil Riyabadi, District Nagaur, Rajasthan is a graduate (B.A.). He was painter by profession and came to Ajmer in the year 2015 for preparation of competitive exams. He is the mastermind of the syndicate and inspired to print and circulate FICN from the Web Series “FARZI” recently premiered at OTT platform “Amazon Prime Videos”. Subsequently, he along with accused Shiv Lal and Radhey established a setup for printing FICN at Ajmer, Rajasthan. Being a painter, he had good knowledge of chemicals/inks and used them in printing FICN.
Accused Shiv Lal, 30 years, R/o Village Raliyawate, Post Rajlota, District Nagour, Rajasthan is a B.A. dropout. He also a NCC C-certificate holder. He came to Ajmer in the year 2011 for preparation of competitive exams. He was in debt and conspired with accused Sakoor Mohammad and Radhey. He took a house i.e., H. No. G-1047, Ganesh Gwadi, Panchsheel Nagar, Ajmer, Rajasthan on rent, where he along with his associates indulged in printing & cutting of FICN.
Accused Himanshu Jain, 47 years, R/o Punarwas Colony, Sagwada, District Dungarpur, Rajasthan, is a graduate (B.A.) and later, he did a computer course in accounts (Tally). He works as an accountant at various shops in Sagwada, Rajasthan. He came in contact with the accused Lokesh Yadav at his E-Mitra shop at Sagwada in the year 2011. He is the person, who was tasked with Sakoor Mohammad and Lokesh Yadav to search for the customers and finalize the deal of FICN.
Accused Lokesh Yadav, 28 years, R/o Village Padra, Tehsil Sagwada, District Dungurpur, Rajasthan, had completed B.A. & B.Ed. and was selected as Grade-III, teacher in Rajasthan. He also runs an e-Mitra shop at Sagwada, Dungarpur, Rajasthan. He is a friend of Himanshu Jain and was tasked to supply FICN.
Accused Sanjay Godara, 22 years, R/o Village Raliyawate, Post Rajlota, District Nagour, Rajasthan studied upto 12th class and came to Ajmer in the year 2018 for preparation of competitive exams. He is a real brother of accused Shiv Lal and was tasked with cutting of printed sheets of FICN.
