No doubt the 2024 election for Chandigarh Loksabha Seat will be held under the new leadership of newly appointed BJP State President Jatinder Pal Malhotra.
BJP has made a major reshuffle in Chandigarh, Arun Sood has been removed from the post of Chandigarh BJP President. In place of Sood, Jatinder Pal Malhotra has now been made the new president of Chandigarh BJP. BJP national president JP Nadda has appointed Jatinder Pal Malhotra.

Malhotra will face major challenge for candidature of BJP Candidate, as outsider Resident of Makhu in Ferozepore distt. Satnam Singh Sandhu, pro Akali, running piller to post to become a BJP Candidate for Parliamentary Constituency from Chandigarh. Though he has not joined BJP, but participating in almost programme, sponsored by BJP or RSS. Kirron Kher MP is still mom on the issue. The other aspirants are Ex MP Satya pal Jain, Ex BJP Chief Chandigarh Sanjay Tondon.
It may not be out of place to mention here that outgoing President of BJP Mr.Arun Sood was also lobbying for Satnam Singh Sandhu as BJP Candidate from Chandigarh.
