Chandigarh Press Club condemned  misbehaved  with female journalist Neha Sharma, who is working with PTI Videos Team. She was misbehaved and obstructed from performing her professional duty by a security team member of Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.

Neha, who is also a vice-president of the club's Governing Council, was at Kullu to cover Kullu Dusshera Festival and while she was doing her professional commitment, she was misbehaved and obstructed in doing her work by the security cover of the Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri.

She was about to take sound byte of Deputy CM when he arrived at Dusshera ground, she put her mike and the security member from his team held her hand and put away the mike dictating that she can't do the sound byte. She did question him to how he touched her.

(SUBHEAD)This happened in front of Deputy CM who himself has been a former journalist and he categorically asked her to not to spoil the show.

DGP was also informed about this incident later and he simply chose to disconnect the call conveniently.

Despite of filling the complaint to DC, SP, Kullu , DGP and CMO, no action has been taken even after three days of the incident.

Club Secretary General Mr. Umesh Sharma, said, we urge the concerned authorities to take appropriate action and make sure that in future no journalist should not be obstructed in performing their professional commitments.
