On the intervening night of 14th / 15th Nov' 2023, BSF intercepted movement of suspected drone near Village - Mianwali, District - Tarn Taran.
As per the laid down drill, BSF troops immediately reacted to intercept the drone.
Further on 15th Nov' 2023, a Joint search Operation with Punjab Police was carried - out. During the search, at about 07:13 hrs, the troops recovered a drone in broken condition along with 02 batteries from the farming field adjacent to Village - Mianwali, District - Tarn Taran.
The recovered drone is a Quadcopter (Model - DJI Matrice 300 RTK, made in China).
Yet another attempt of smugglers to smuggle narcotics through drone was foiled by BSF and Punjab Police.
