Adani Foundation has funded Rs 70 lakhs for Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh's brand ambassador Amir Hussain Lone for his dream cricket academy for needy and deserving youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
Today, Amir visited Aryans Group of Colleges and interacted with Aryans students and thanked Aryans management for support and blessings to his dream cricket academy. A special function was organised in Aryans where major strength of students Jammu & Kashmir and other states students Participated. The event was presided over by Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group. The program started with lamp lighting by Amir followed by cake cutting ceremony. Later he played cricket with Aryans students as well.
Amir thanked Adani Foundation for this generous support under corporate social responsibility. He said I have faced a lot of challenges while becoming a successful Cricketer but I want that my younger brothers and sisters from JK and other parts of Country must not face such hardship because of lack of Funds. I will spend entire money for establishing Amir Cricket Academy, which will not charge a single penny from any cricket aspirants, and the academy would work in all types of weather.
Dr. Anshu kataria said that we are proud Amir Hussain Lone, who is Brand Ambassador of Aryans Group, his journey is an inspiration not only for India but for the entire world. For all his hard work and Aryans Group decided and announced him Brand Ambassador of Aryans.
It is to be mentioned that Preeti Adani, chairman of the Adani Foundation, said to Lone that "I am glad to know that you are putting your best efforts and commitment towards building a dedicated cricket facility in your village in Anantnag. I have been briefed that the facility will help budding cricketers in the region, including specially abled sportsmen. It is indeed a commendable endeavor, She said that Gautam Adani was touched by Lone's "courage and indomitable spirit." And said that he was personally inspired by the way he navigated his challenges in order to succeed. "Adani Group, as always, is standing alongside you in your inspiring journey and yet again making a humble contribution in fulfilling your dreams."
Amir Hussain Lone is brand ambassador of Aryans Group and is pursuing higher education at Aryans. God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar has invited Amir Hussain to play first ball of Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) & also introduced him with many bollywood stars. Virat Kohli, Harbhajan Singh, Navjot Sidhu, Ashish Chopra, Ajay Jadeja have also appreciated his passion for cricket on their social media platforms. The cricketer has a unique playing style. He bowls using his legs and bats using his shoulder and neck.
