A meeting regarding framing of Joint Time Table for the buses operating from ISBT-17 & ISBT-43 to various destinations was held under the Chairmanship of Sh.Rupesh Kumar, IAS, Secretary State Transport Authority UT Chandigarh on Friday in STA Office with the Officers of neighbouring STU's.
In the meeting, Secretary STA briefed the participants about the Vehicle Location Tracking Device Command and Control Centre functional in STA for tracking of passenger vehicles to ensure safety of passengers and asked them to start the project in their respective States so that the same can be integrated and accessed with each other.
After that timings regarding time table were discussed in detail and objections were asked from the participant members.
At this, the participants requested for giving time for consultation with concerned depots under their control. At this Secretary, STA directed to share the so prepared time table through watsapp for giving their objections Suggestions regarding timings.
The next meeting in this regard is scheduled for 10th January 2023 at 11.00 A.M in STA office for discussions and finalization of time table accordingly with consent of all participant members.
