CHANDIGARH POLICE NABS KARNAL AND BURAIL YOUTH IN SNATCHING

In another breakthrough a team of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh has got a major success by arresting/apprehending Accused Rahul S/o Ramesh Kumar R/o H. No 512, Village-UcchaSamana, District-Karnal (Haryana) age 24 yrs and Mohd Sanjay S/o MohdHanif R/o H. No 641, Sector-45, Burail, Chandigarh age 21 yrs.

As a result of which recently registered snatching case FIR No. 02 dated 01.01.2024 U/S 379A, 34IPC added , 411 IPC of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh has been worked out. As per directions of Ms.
Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Sh. Mridul, W/SP/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of Sh. Dalbir Singh, DSP/South a team of officials of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh was constituted to solve the snatching case.

Present case was registered on the complaint of Ms. Heena D/o Late Rohtash R/o H. No 61, IndraAwas Colony, Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 23 yrs in which she stated that ON 01.01.2024 at about 02:20PM, she was going to home, while she was reached near Bus Stop, Phase-II, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh in the meantime two unknown boys came on motorcycle from her back side and snatched her mobile phone and ran away from the spot on their motorcycle. She could not note down motorcycle number.

In this regard a special team was constituted consisting of ASI Dilbag Singh, Ct Karampal 4187/CP, Ct Mohit 51/CP, Vol Major Singh 843/CHG of PS-31, Chandigarh to work out the case. On the intervening night 02/03.01.2024, acting upon an  secret information, accused Rahul S/o Ramesh Kumar R/o H. No 512, Village-UcchaSamana, District-Karnal (Haryana) age 24 yrs and Mohd Sanjay S/o MohdHanif R/o H. No 641,  Sector-45, Burail, Chandigarh age 21 yrs, were arrested from under railway bridge, Faidan, Chandigarh (Pb).
