The Excise & Taxation Department, UT Chandigarh carried out Inspection of Liquor Vends And Godowns in Sector 22 and 26 on Saturday. The teams were headed by ETO Nirpjit and Randhir.
925 bottles in total , included imported liquor of high value were confiscated. These bottles were without hologram, without pass permit and unapproved labels. Excise Department will take Legal action as per provisions of Excise Act in this case.
The Department is continuously carrying out inspections of Vends, godowns and bottling plants to check any unlawful activities.
