CHANDIGARH ADMINISTRATION CHANGED SCHOOL TIMINGS FROM JANUARY 8

The timing of schools in Chandigarh has been changed. The administration has taken this decision in view of the cold and dense fog. According to the notification issued now, from January 8 to January 13, all government, government-aided, recognized private schools in Chandigarh will not open at 9:30 am. Whereas schools will have to be closed till 3 pm. It is said that till now schools were opening at 8.30 in the morning. Where in such a situation, both the students and their parents had to face problems in the cold in the morning. The cold chill will continue for now

These days the cold has taken a severe form. People are shivering due to cold. Have to resort to bonfire. Along with cold, dense fog is also affecting us. Due to fog, it becomes very difficult to leave the house in the morning. Accidents are also happening due to fog. The weather department says that people will have to endure the cold for a few more days. There may be some relief from cold after January 14.

It may add that in Chandigarh as well as in other states, school timings have been changed or school holidays have been postponed. Recently, the timing of schools in Punjab was changed again. Instructions were issued to open all government, government-aided, recognized private schools of Punjab from 10 am from January 1, 2024 to January 14. Whereas the school holidays were kept at the pre-determined time of 3 pm.
