Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CSIR-CSIO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Shantanu Bhattacharya as its new Director, effective from Tuesday.

A distinguished scholar and a leading figure in the field of Microsystems fabrication, Prof. Bhattacharya brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. He was previously associated with the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.

In his new capacity as the Director of CSIR-CSIO, Prof. Bhattacharya is poised to lead the organization towards further advancements in scientific research and innovation. His visionary leadership is expected to propel CSIR-CSIO to new heights, fostering collaboration and pushing the boundaries of scientific exploration.
