In a major breakthrough joint team of Police Station Sector-3, Chandigarhand District Crime Cell Sector-24, Chandigarh under the close supervision of Ms. KanwardeepKaur, IPS, SSP, UT, Chandigarh, guidance of Sh. Mridul, IPS, SP City, DSP/Central and DSP/DCC is able to arrest the one accused namely Gurwinder Singh @ Laddy S/o Avtar Singh R/o Village Kartarpur, PS-Mullanpur, District SAS Nagar, Mohali, Punjab, Age-26 years on dated 23.01.2024 in case FIR No. 04 dated 20.01.2024 U/s U/s 384, 336, 506, 120-B IPC & 25/27/54/59 Arms Act PS-3, Chandigarh.
This case was registered on the complaint of Kuldeep Singh S/o Late Sh. SardarRoshan Singh R/o House No. 71, Sector-5, Chandigarh in which he stated that he is a businessman and on dated 19.01.2024 at around 04:14 AM, complainant heard sound of firing outside his house and also heard sound of motorcycle. In the morning at around 08:30 AM, he found some empty cartridges were lying in the back lane of his house.
Different teams comprising PS-3, Chandigarh, District Crime Cell and Operation Cell were constituted to work-out the case.(SUBHEAD)
After inspecting & examine the crime scene & by collecting information from different sources/ CCTV footage and a day/night search was conducted &secret sources have been geared up. Under the supervision of Sh. Gurmukh Singh, DSP/Central and Sh. SPS Sondhi, DSP/DCC, the joint team of PS-3, Chandigarh and District Crime Cell on 23.01.2024, after examining CCTV footage and on the basis of human intelligence, laid a naka near Village Kartarpur turn, near Mullanpur, District Mohali, Punjab and nabbed the accused namely Gurwinder Singh @ Laddy
On Wedneday the accused was produced before the Hon’ble Court and obtained 03 days Police remand.
All the accused involved in crime have been identified and for the arrest of remaining accused and for the recovery, different teams have been sent and raids are being conducted to nab the other accused. Remaining accused will be arrested shortly.
