ZIRAKPUR TAILOR MURDERED IN MAULI JAGRAN, 3 ARRESTED WITHIN 24 HOURS

Police Station Mauli Jagran has achieved a major success to work out the Murder Case by arresting three  accused persons within 24 hours of reporting of crime.The incident, occurred in the evening of 01February 2024, and information regarding the same was reported at PS-Mauli Jagran through the Police Control Room.

(MOREPIC1)The case FIR NO. 09, DATED 02.02.2024 UNDER SECTION 394, 302, 34 IPC, was registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh, as the accused murdered the Tailor near Bawa Parking in Mauli Jagran.

The case was registered on the complaintof Rohit S/o Suresh Kumar R/o H.No. 05, Vill Mauli, Chandigarh, wherein he stated that his father working as a tailor at Maya garden Zirakpur, Mohali, PB and usually he comes back home at about 7:00 Pm daily, but on Thursday his father didn't come in time.

He further stated that his father also got salary and they were waiting to go for market to purchase some groceries items. At about 7.30 PM he also went away to market and in the meanwhile when he reached near Bawa Parking, then he saw that three boys stopped his father and were trying to rob him, when his father objected then one boy attacked on his father with knife and all the three boys calling to each other as Kalu, Kancha and Paapu. He also stated that these boys attacked on his father with the intention to rob money from his father. He requested for legal action against the culprits.

In a significant development, the diligent efforts of MS. Kanwardeep Kaur,W/SSP, UT Chandigarh, Sh. Mridul, W/SP-City, Chandigarh, Sh. P. Abhinandan, SDPO/North-East, and a dedicated team of Inspector/SHO Satnam Singh, Police Station-MauliJagran Chandigarh, Inspector/SHO Jaspal Singh, Police Station-IT Park, Chandigarh and other officials swiftly dispatched to workout the case.

During the course of investigation all the three accused namely Sahil @ Kancha S/o Subash R/o H.No.17 Rajiv Colony Panchkula Age-19 years, Sikander @ Paapu @ Ganji S/o Rajesh R/oJhuggi Rajiv Colony Age-22 Years and Jaiparkash @ Kalu S/o Ramcharan R/o H.No. 114, Indira Colony, Panchkula, HR Age-21 years were arrested on 02.02.2024 and weapon used in crime i.e. knife also recovered from their possession. The further investigation is going on.
