The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) conducts admissions for online learning and open and distance learning twice a year, once for the January session and the other for the July session. The admission process for the January 2024 session is currently ongoing. The last date for admissions has been extended until February 15 for new admissions and for students who wish to re-register.

Sharing more details in this regard the spokesperson of the university said that students who have not been able to secure admission to regular colleges due to merit or for any reason, or those who cannot attend regular colleges and universities for any reason, can easily pursue their studies and obtain a degree from IGNOU.

Even working professionals can continue their higher education through distance learning and enroll in any certificate, diploma, postgraduate diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs offered by IGNOU. The list of all IGNOU programs and information is available on IGNOU's website ignou.ac.in.
