BRITISH COLUMBIA SPEAKER CALLS ON SPEAKER OF PUNJAB LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY

A delegation led by Mr. Raj Chauhan, Speaker, British Columbia (Canada) called on the Speaker of Punjab Legislative Assembly S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan. Meanwhile, both the leaders emphasized on strengthening mutual cooperation between Punjab and British Columbia.

During the meeting at the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Mr. Sandhwan emphasized on strengthening the cooperation between Punjab and British Columbia in agriculture, industry, technology and other fields. The PVS Speaker said that both the States can benefit from mutual exchange of knowledge and technology in various fields.

S. Sandhwan also asked Mr. Raj Chauhan to encourage Canadian companies to invest in Punjab as the state offers an invest friendly environment.

Mr. Raj Chauhan discussed British Columbia-Punjab's historical relations and recalled the historical relations between the two States. He also appreciated the hardworking spirit of Punjabis. Mr. Raj Chauhan said that British Columbia has been continuously promoting strong bilateral cooperation with Punjab, which will further strengthen the relationship between the two States.
