As per the directions of W/SSP/UT Ms. KanwardeepKaur, IPS under the close guidance of Sh. Mridul, IPS, W/SP/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of ShDalbir Singh. DSP/South a team of officials of Police Station-34, Chandigarh has achieved a major success by arresting accused and recovering of stolen vehicles. The team headed by Insp. Baldev Kumar, SHO/34 consisting HC Ajay Pal, 95/CP, HC Manwinder Singh,1832/CP, Ct. Sandeep, 5195/CP and Ct Dhirender, 2176/CP has arrested two accused and recovered the stolen vehicles from their possession.
Online e-FIR No. 162 dtd16.02.2024 U/s 379 IPC PS 34 Chandigarh was registered on the complaint of Ashok Kumar R/o # 229-B, Burail Chandigarh regarding theft of his Car make Tata Indica Vista registration No. PB-65-Z-4425 from in front of British School Sector-44, Chandigarh .
(SUBHEAD)During investigation upon receipt of secret information on 17.02.2024 two accused Amandeep Singh and SarveshKumar S/o Ram Sarupwere arrested alongwith towing van. The accused were used to steal the vehicle by using towing van in the night and further sold the stolen vehicle to their accomplice Jagtar Singh @ Billu of Amloh, Punjab. He was also arrested in this case.By their arrest total three cases of vehicle theft has been solved of Police Station-34 as under:

The accused were produce in the court and sent to judicial custody on 20.02.2024.
