In another breakthrough Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh has got success by arresting the accused Dilip S/o Baban Singh R/o H. No 483, Hallomajra, Chandigarh age 28 yrs and solved recently registered a case FIR No. 07 dated 15.01.2024 U/S 379 IPC added, 411 IPC of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh.
As per directions of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Sh. Mridul, W/SP/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of Sh. Dalbir Singh, DSP/South a team of officials of Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh was constituted.
Present case was registered on the complaint of Sh. Rakesh Kumar S/o Late Sh. Attar Singh R/o H. No 1320, Phase-I, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh age 40 yrs in which he stated that on 14.01.2024 at about 08:00PM he parked his E-rickshaw bearing registration No PB65/TC/2019/07 in front of his house. When he saw next morning about at 06:30AM his E-rickshaw battery box lock was broken and found
that 05 batteries were missing. Someone unknown person has stolen his E-rickshaw batteries.
On receipt of secret information, a special team was constituted by SHO-31 and team conducted raid, one accused namely Dilip S/o Baban Singh wasarrested and stolen four batteries were recovered from his possession.
On 22.02.2024 accused Dilip S/o Baban Singh was produced before the Hon’ble Court and same was sent to judicial custody. Further investigation is in progress.
