EQUIPMENT DISPLAY ORGANISED AS PRECURSOR TO INVESTITURE CEREMONY

An equipment display was organised as a precursor to the South Western Command investiture ceremony at Hisar Military Station. 

The aim of the event was to showcase the modern technology used by the Indian Army to all ranks, families and children visitors from various schools of Hisar and to inspire them to join the Indian Army. 

As part of the program, a wide range of weapons and equipment including the main battle tanks, artillery gun systems, air defence system, infantry weapons, surveillance and communication equipment of niche technology were displayed.

Over a span of the two days display, about 1200 all with families and 2100 students from different schools and colleges across Hisar visited the event. The equipment display shall be there on 24 February also till noon and is likely to invite a major gathering.
