On 24.02.204 working on the instructions/directions of Senior Officers Ms. KanwardeepKaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT Chandigarh and Sh. Mridul, IPS, SP City the team of Police Station Industrial Area was constituted under the close supervision of Insp./SHO Jaspal Singh Bhullar 469/CHG, PS-Indl. Area and overall supervision of Ms. PalakGoel SDPO/East. The team working on secret information laid down Naka near Garcha Turn, Chandigarh to nab the culprits.
During Naka the police party saw two motorcyclists coming on motor cycle TVS Apache no. CH01AZ1363 towards Naka side but on seeing the Naka party the motor cycle rider immediately turned back his motor cycle and try to run away. On this naka party apprehended the motor cycle rider along with pillion rider, who disclosed their name as Govinda S/o Ganesh R/o # 2550, PWT, Manimajra, Chandigarh, Age 22 years & Bunty Kumar S/o KashiNath R/o # 204, Village Hallo Majra, Chandigarh, Age 31 yearsand the stolen motorcycle has been recovered from their possession along with the RC of the stolen motorcycle.
During further questioning, 06 other stolen two wheelers make Royal Enfield Bullets have also been recovered on their identifications. Investigation of the case is in progress. Both were wanted in Manimajra and Sector 31 Police Stations.
