Keeping in view of increasing of motor vehicle theft cases, on the direction of Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS, W/SSP/UT, Chandigarh, under the close guidance of Sh. Mridul, IPS, W/SP/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of smt palak goyal, DSP/Central, a team of Police Station Sector-17, Chandigarh headed by Insp. Rajeev Kumar SHO PS-17 has got major success by arresting accused, identified as Amrish S/o Sh. Dine Parshad R/o Guru Nanak Colony Jagatpura Teh. Kharar Distt. Mohali (PB) Age19 Years., Bablu S/o Mehta Prasad R/o H. No 2669 Sector-49 Chandigarh Age 19 Years.
(MOREPIC1)During interrogation, they confessed to their involvement in several cases of theft. The similar cases have also been found registered against them. With their arrest, the following cases have been worked out.

Recovery: –Two Activa, Two Cars, Three M/Cycle
On 04.03.2024, both accused have been arrested and after through interrogation, the above cases have been worked out by recovering above vehicles on their disclosure/identification. Accused are in police custody and being produced before Hon’ble Court.
