On the occasion of Annual Convocation the Panjab University isssued advisory for security measures.
*”NO VEHICLE ROAD” The VVIP route will be from Gate No- 1 via Administrative Block, Chemistry Department and Physics Department road upto Gymnasium Hall
(a) This route will not be allowed for public from 01:00 pm to 07:00 pm on March 07, 2024.
(b) No Vehicle will be allowed to be parked on this route road on March 06 & 07, 2024..
II. Please park your vehicles in respective / designated parking only.
III. All the residents/visitors of Panjab University are not to park their vehicles on the road side in the PU campus on March 06 & 07, 2024. If any vehicle is found parked in the unauthorized area, it will be towed-away by the traffic police of Chandigarh.
IV. Gate timing for General Public on March 07, 2024
a. Gate No-1 will remain open for entry and exit from 06:00 am. to 01:00 p.m. and after 07:00 pm. No Vehicles will be allowed from Gate No-1 from 01:00 p.m. to 07:00 p.m
b. Gate No2 will remain open for entry and exit throughout for the (VIPS, Guest Invitees, and Faculty & Media persons).
c. Gate No-3 will remain open for entry and exit from 06:00 am. to 10:00 pm for the Students & Residents.
All the Panjab University residents, visitors in the PU campus are requested to follow the above mentioned instructions for the smooth conduct of the Convocation.
