The Women’s Reservation Bill is a historic step towards gender equality and women’s empowerment in the Indian political landscape. By guaranteeing a minimum of 33% of seats for women in legislatures, the bill aims to increase their participation in decision-making and create a more inclusive democracy. This not only provides equal opportunities but recognizes the vital role women play in shaping national policy and governance.

Thought-provoking discussions on the bill’s impact on various sectors were discussed exploring the challenges and opportunities faced by women in political participation and potential effects on policymaking at all levels.

On this historic event Rekha Mody, founder of Stree Shakti – The Parallel Force said, “We are representing Stree Shakti, the collective power of women. Together, we can achieve anything. This event is a testament to the strength and resilience of women, and I am confident that it will inspire us all to reach our full potential,” she further added, “We believe that women have the power to drive economic growth and create a more just and equitable society.”

The event concluded with a powerful sense of unity and undeterred commitment to gender equality. Participants pledged to collaborate in maximizing the potential of the Women’s Reservation Bill.
