To eliminate and awareness against drugs in the leadership of W/SSP UT, Chd and in the close supervision of DSP N. East and SHO/Insp Jaspal Singh two days grand cricket tournament was organized by IT Park Police Station, Chandigarh. 16 teams participated in the tournament.
The final match took place between Naval Bharat and Subhash Nagar King Teams. In a thrilling contest, Naval Bharat defeated Subhash Nagar Kings by 8 runs. DSP Palak Goyal, SHO Malkit Singh Police Station 11 Chandigarh, SHO Davinder Singh Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh, SHO Baldev Kumar Police Station Sector 34 Chandigarh, SHO Jaiprakash Police Station Sector 3 Chandigarh, SHO Satnam Singh PS Mauli Jagran, Sub Inspector Gurvinder Singh Outpost Incharge Hallu Majra as the chief guest on the first day of the tournament.
on the second day Sub Inspector Pramod Kumar Chowki Incharge, Dariya and Jannat Janha CEO Gladius Overseas, N.S Thakur General Secretary Chandigarh Olympics, International Cricket Player Karanvir Singh Ji, Advocate Rajeev Sharma were mainly present. The winning team Naval Bharat was awarded by a trophy and cash prize ₹11000.
The runner up team in the final was also awarded by a trophy and cash prize Rs 5100. With this, trophy and cash prize was awarded to player of tournament namely Kaki. Aman who scored the most runs was awarded a trophy and cash prize. Track suits were given to the winning team in the final by Arpan Infosys. The trophy is sponsored by Gladius Overseas Private Limited. In the end of tournament a match between women police officials of PS IT Park and PS Mauli Jagran was played in which PS IT Park wins in close tie.
