Police achieved a major success by arresting three accused persons namely Rahul S/o Satya Singh R/o# 179, Vill. Kajheri,Chandigarh Age 24 years, Rupinder Singh S/o Jagdish Singh R/o# 51, Phase 3B1, Mohali (PB) Age 33 years and one lady,who were involved in case FIR No. 25 Dated 11.03.2024 U/S 394,120-B IPC added 411, IPC, PS Ind. Area, Chandigarh, which was registered on the complaint of Sukhbir Singh S/o Sh. Kashmira Singh R/o# 916, BMK, Mani Majra Chd.
The complainant reported that he works as Cash Custodian Collection in Hitachi Cash Management Company, Plot No. F-91, Ind. Area, Phase 7, Mohali (PB).
On 11.03.2024 he along with his team came at Elante Mall, Ind Area, Chandigarh for collection of cash and after collecting cash from various outlets when he returned back towards their company vehicle by lift, two unknown persons robbed two cash bags containing cash Rs. 5,80,200/- and Rs. 5,34,300/- from his PITHOO bag along with his purse containing cash Rs. 100/-, Aadhar Card and 2 passport size photos from Elante Mall, Ind Area, Phase-1, Chandigarh and fled away with the help of their lady associate in car.(SUBHEAD)
During the course of investigation accused Rahul, Rupinder & lady accused have been arrested on 12.03.2024 and the case property i.e. Cash 5,33,200/- & purse containing cash Rs. 100/-, Aadhar Card and 2 passport size photosalong with the car used in crime have been recovered from their possession.
During further investigation, it came into light that lady accused was earlier working at Ethios, Elante Mall, and she already having knowledge that the cash has been collecting by Hitachi Cash Management Company and further deposited at HDFC Bank.
She is the master mind of the crime and she further told about it to the both accused Rahul &Rupinder Singh. Then they made reiki for two weeks and committed the crime on 11.03.2024
