The Chandigarh Press Club has unveiled a reading room-cum-library adorned with empowering wall art.The inauguration, held on Friday, was officiated by senior members of the club.

The walls feature striking murals depicting the rainbow hues of the LGBTQIA+ symbol, white, pink, and blue stripes symbolizing transgender pride, and black and brown stripes representing the significance of Black Lives Matter.

These artworks were crafted by young individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, utilizing art as a means of empowerment and expression.

The reading room-cum-library is dedicated to the club's founder members, who established it in 1979, and the library section is named in memory of a founder member Late Sh. Shaukin Singh of Patriot.
